Appeal-record indexing with offshore legal support
Create a navigable record of orders, notices, briefs, and transcripts while appellate strategy and deadline decisions remain with counsel.
Start with the governing record list
Use the firm-approved inventory to capture court, case identifier, document type, entry date, filing party, source, and page range. Keep the record order and version visible.
Track omissions and conflicts
Flag a missing order, inconsistent caption, unreadable transcript page, or unclear filing status. Do not infer whether an item belongs in the appellate record or whether a deadline has begun.
Prepare the attorney view
Sort the materials as instructed, link each item to its source, and include an open-question list. Counsel decides record designation, briefing strategy, and final filing.
