Legal-research source logging with offshore support
Maintain citations, jurisdiction, dates, and retrieval notes while attorneys perform analysis and decide what authority supports advice.
Record the source, not a conclusion
Capture title, court or issuing body, citation supplied by the firm, jurisdiction, publication or decision date, retrieval date, and source URL or file. Preserve the retrieved copy when firm policy permits.
Track source questions
Flag an incomplete citation, outdated version, inaccessible link, conflicting jurisdiction, or unclear quoted passage. Do not silently substitute a different authority or describe a source as controlling.
Give the attorney a clean research trail
Group sources by the question supplied by counsel and link each note to the source. The attorney decides relevance, weight, current validity, and the final legal position.
